O's Game

Wifey and I didn't have very big plans for Sunday until a guy at church walked up to me and handed me 4 Orioles tickets and a parking pass. So the two of us along with Sarah, Kirby, and Jeff made the trip to downtown Baltimore through lightning and rain to watch the O's break a 15 game losing streak on Sundays.




Luckily I thought to bring the trash bags before we left. The other big highlight of the day was getting to see our umpire friend from my Bachelor Party. It was the same dude!


After the game Jeff and I yelled at him and waved our hands in the air to get his attention but I think he probably just thought we were drunk. All the pictures are here.

Wedding Table Cards

At our wedding reception we made little place cards for our table settings. Instead of doing the norm and assigning numbers to each table, we chose a location that meant something to the two of us and made post cards for each table. If you didn't have a chance to see and read each table during the reception, we have scanned each table card in for you to see. The first picture is what appeared on the front and the writing was done on the back. Here is the complete set.

Rockbridge 2008

First, if you notice there is a new title to our little blog here. I've had to make some space for the Mrs. Metzger so now we can both post our pictures.

Honeymoon!

So it's been a while since the last blog post (there was some big event going on that consumed my every waking moment) but now we have more updates than you can imagine. The only problem is that in about 12 hours we will be on a bus with 40 high schoolers from Towson High heading to Young Life camp in Virginia.

So, when we get back in a week we will have multiple blog posts explaining the photos from our honeymoon, but for now, enjoy the pictures. We have many stories about Elbow Beach, the Crystal Caves, mopeds, dinners on the beach, and lots of good times. Here is the link to all the photos.

Another House Update

My apologies for the lack of posts recently. Wedding stuff is getting crazy. We are less than two weeks away! I'll have a lot of stuff to post after the wedding, but for now here's another update on our house.

In our master bedroom we have added crown molding, a ceiling fan (all by myself), hung a few pictures, and finished painting. Here are a few before and after pictures of the room.
