Ravens Game

This past Sunday, we scored tickets (courtesy of CM's parents) to M&T Bank Stadium for the Ravens regular season finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars. We even received passes to go down on the field before the game to watch the team warm up for a little while.

The picture above is of the Ravens Long Snapper, Matt Katula. He has a funny story.

Watching a game in a luxury box is the way to go. The food was delicious. All the pictures can be found here.

More DC United

I recently had the opportunity to take CM and our friend Kirstin to a DC United game. I had some stuff to film pre-game so we were able to enjoy a 3-0 victory by DC including a couple of great goals (first and second). Thanks to Kyle for the great seats.

All the photos are from that game and my last DC United game are here.

Old Man Softball

Recently I played softball with our church's team and the wifey was a good sport and came along to photograph the event. The problem was the game only lasted about a half an hour because the team we were playing laid the smackdown and slaughtered us in a few innings. So for our resident photographer to stay entertained she created another photo shoot for the Weaver kids.

All the pictures are right here.

O's Game

Wifey and I didn't have very big plans for Sunday until a guy at church walked up to me and handed me 4 Orioles tickets and a parking pass. So the two of us along with Sarah, Kirby, and Jeff made the trip to downtown Baltimore through lightning and rain to watch the O's break a 15 game losing streak on Sundays.

Luckily I thought to bring the trash bags before we left. The other big highlight of the day was getting to see our umpire friend from my Bachelor Party. It was the same dude!

After the game Jeff and I yelled at him and waved our hands in the air to get his attention but I think he probably just thought we were drunk. All the pictures are here.

Bachelor Party Baseball

On Saturday a bunch of us celebrated my bachelor-hood by playing 1 1/2 games of baseball and attending an O's game later that night. Thank you to Brody for taking many of these pictures.

This is our umpire friend who did some dancing for us and thought Brody had been drinking.

It was a very fun day, thanks to all the fellas that came out. You can view the complete set of photos here.

Filming for DC United

So I've been working with DC United going on 3 years now. I usually film (video) on the sidelines so this time I decided to bring my still camera to get some pictures in between filming for video. It was a lot of fun. I need a bigger lens though.

You can see the rest of the set here.

How did it ever come to this?

I might not ever be able to forgive myself.

La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya)

Today was a pretty good day. I set foot in the Pacific Ocean for the very first time, I ate at In-N-Out Burger for the very first time, and stopped by Petco Park home of the San Diego Padres. Many thanks for Tim's friend Jen who drove us around from place to place.
Now for the picture of the day...

Ah, thank you. For the rest of the pictures click here.

Run for your Young Life 5K Pictures

These photos were taken by Brody Bond.

We ended up with about 100 runners total. Not bad for year 1. I'm looking forward to growing this event and making it huge in the next few years. Thanks to everyone who came out. You can see the complete set of pictures here.

Pictures from Michigan

Pictures from my trip to Michigan are now up. The panoramic shots didn't work very well but you at least get the idea. See the rest of the pictures here.
