After a very long week for me and a very long school year for the Wifey, the whole fam took a trip over to the reservoir to take in a sunset.

There haven't been a whole lot of blogworthy events going on around the Metzger household lately. Things will pick up with summer coming. For now here's a little bit more on the dog.
This is Dudley's first bath. Note how you are unable to see the bottom of the tub through the water. That's all dirt...

My wife's life is now complete. We have a dog. Meet Dudley.
It was pretty easy to spot him when we pulled up to pick him up. He just got fixed so the cone prevents him from gnawing at his stitches. It also makes him look pretty goofy.
He is a lab mixed with something else (we think maybe a German Shepherd). I have a lot in common with the dog. He has a big head, he's laid back, and he's pretty gassy. All in all he seems to be a pretty easy dog so far. A few more pictures here.
This was the original purpose for going to take these pictures. We had been trying to think of something to put above our mantle for a while and somehow this idea just popped into my head.
